Lorraine Buonopane Scott has attended art classes at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA. as well as correspondence courses from Art Instruction Schools in Minnesota.
Lorraine's artistic abilitys and knowledge were fine tuned under the teachings of Paul Donlan, a political cartoonist of Plymouth, MA and New Englands renowned portrait artist, Constance Flavell Pratt of Norwell, MA.
For a while she worked on an animated film production and furthered her education in the graphic art field.
For the past 20 years she has been working her own business of Personal Portraits in pencil as well as drawing pets and wild animals in pastel chalk, especially wild cats.
Her acceptance into local and regional art shows has helped her belief in art appreciation. Her concept of taking information from a photograph, or her mind and drawing, painting or sculpting pieces of art, has brought enjoyment to others and herself.
Lorraine has found that the [love of art] in her soul is only as strong as the happiness it can bring when shared with others.
